How to fix the errors during Analysis?

Ascendo validates the content of the input file and performs many steps to figure the part that is installed at the customer and the Depot that the part needs to be supported. In order to perform this, Ascendo may look at several fields including trying to find the part number through a serial number check. It is possible, Planner may see the Analysis stopping due to errors. This section provide guidelines to fixing the errors.

Part is not present in the Part Table	Check if the part name looks relevant Check in the Material Master file why the part is missing Work with the PLM team to add the part to the Material Master file if needed If the Part name is not a correct one, Planner can add an entry in the Misnomer fie to map the incorrect part name to a correct part name. Also possible to ignore the error, if the part name does not make sense and actually an error from the field Reprocess the analysis if required. Alternatively, can delete the rows and correct and upload, or continue as is.
Part is not present in the cost table	Check if the part name is present in the Material Master file. If yes, the part is correct but missing Part Cost Work with the Finance/Supply Chain team to get the cost information and add to the the Part Cost reference data Reprocess the Analysis once the part cost is added.
Misnomer error	Check if the given part name is present in Misnomer file If yes, check if it points to multiple correct parts. One misnomer cannot point to multiple correct parts. Fix the error and reprocess as needed
Node Name does not have associated Depot	Check the Node to Depot mapping record Add a new entry to map the given node name to a depot Reprocess as needed
