Prerequisites: Okta SSO Activation
In order to enable Okta SSO on Ascendo, we need the following details:
Domain Name
Client ID
API Key
Custom Authorization Server ID

After getting these details, add callback URI in Okta settings.
Here’s how you can carry out the above mentioned steps:
How to get Domain Name from Okta?

Open Okta → Admin.
Â
Click on the domain name in top right.
Â
Copy the full domain name.
Â
How to get Client ID from Okta?
Â
Go to Applications Menu.
Â
Copy the Client ID.
Â
How to get API key from Okta?
Â
In Side Menu, open Security → API.
Â
Go to Tokens tab.
Â
Click on Create Token.
Â
Give a name and click on Create Token.
Â
Copy the token.
Â
How to get Custom Authorization Server ID in Okta?
Please note that you will only require the Authorization Server ID when utilizing a custom server. If you are using the default server, it will be automatically detected by Ascendo, and you won't need to retrieve this information.

Open Security Menu.

Go to API page.
In Authorization Servers tab, copy the desired ID.

Adding Callback URI in Okta
Â
Open Applications Menu.
Â
Click on the relevant application.
Â

In General tab, go to General settings.
Â
Enable Edit option.
Â
Scroll down to Login section.
Â
In Sign-in redirect URIs → Add URI.
Â
Add https://digicert.app.ascendo.ai/callback

Save changes.
