How is inventory linked to Ascendo Spares Planning?

Ascendo provides an open API to sync inventory updated within Ascendo. The inventory records contain information the following for each part and depot combination:

• current inventory for that part at a depot

• current reorder point set for a given part at the depot

• any in-transit inventory coming into the depot for the part

The information is a snapshot of inventory information at a point in time. The inventory can be updated at any frequency.
