What are Misnomers Part?

Part may be incorrectly named in the field for various reasons. Because of this, the part name coming from the field needs to be mapped to a correct part before checking for its validity in the master part data, part cost, and inventory. This reference data is more of a living data set and allows planners to add based on what they see from the field.

When Ascendo performs an analysis, if it finds parts that are not recognizable, it provides error records. These error records can sometimes be corrected by having the correct misnomer records.
